Evaluate pitch decks against your investment thesis with structured scoring, gap identification, and follow-up question generation.
Quick Start
Use this skill when:
- An inbound deck has arrived and needs a first-pass review before deciding on a call
- You are preparing for a first meeting and want structured follow-up questions
- You want to compare multiple decks from the same cohort on a consistent rubric
- An associate has reviewed a deck and you want a second opinion before the partner meeting
- You are building a sourcing pipeline and need to process a high volume of decks quickly
How It Works
Upload the pitch deck PDF or share the Docsend link. Pitch Deck Analysis extracts text and images from every slide, then evaluates the deck against a structured rubric with 10 weighted dimensions. Each dimension receives a score from 1–10 with a brief rationale.
Dimension weights are configurable to match your thesis. An early-stage fund focused on founder quality might weight team at 30% and traction at 10%; a growth fund might reverse those weights.
Follow-Up Question Generation
After scoring, the skill generates follow-up questions organized by dimension. Questions are specific to the deck content — not generic. If the deck claims 400% YoY growth but does not specify the base, the skill generates: 'What was the ARR base for the 400% growth figure and what is the current ARR?'
Questions are ranked by importance so the analyst can prioritize the first call agenda.
Pass / Advance Decision
Based on the rubric scores and your configured thresholds, the skill outputs a recommended decision: Pass, Advance to Call, or Needs More Info. The recommendation includes a one-paragraph rationale citing the 3 strongest signals and the 2 most significant concerns. All recommendations are advisory — the final decision remains with the investor.
