Terms of Service

By accessing or using VCSkills (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

VCSkills is operated by Overdrive ("we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

VCSkills is a curated library of reusable AI agent skills purpose-built for venture capital professionals. The Service includes a public skill leaderboard, skill detail pages, an MCP server directory, and a skills CLI integration.

We provide the Service on an "as is" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: (a) scrape or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission; (b) use the Service to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data; or (d) use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

You are responsible for any content you submit through the Service, including skill submissions. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content in connection with the Service.

By submitting a skill via the Service, you represent that: (a) you have the right to share the linked repository; (b) the skill does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; and (c) the skill does not contain malicious code.

We reserve the right to reject, remove, or delist any skill submission at our discretion, including following a security audit finding.

The skills CLI collects anonymous, aggregated telemetry to power the install-count leaderboard. When you provide your email to reveal an install command, that email is stored and associated with the install event for the purpose of product communications and security notifications.

You may opt out of future communications at any time by emailing us at legal@vcskills.com or clicking the unsubscribe link in any communication we send.

The VCSkills name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of Overdrive and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Individual skills are the property of their respective authors under the licences specified in their repositories.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos without prior written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OVERDRIVE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
